About This Event
"An Armenian Jukebox" — Online Webinar In April, we commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Newer initiatives such as the Armenian History Month and the Heritage Month, extend that reflection beyond a single day, creating space to ask deeper questions about who we are and what we carry forward. In that spirit, this webinar invites you into a different kind of conversation with speakers: writer, editor and translator Jan Bazian (@janbazian), and writer, producer and cultural curator Tato Ayvaz (@tatoayvaz). What does it mean to be Armenian today — across borders, languages, and lived experiences? When does our heritage become truly համահայկական, belonging to all of us rather than dividing us into Spyurkahay and Hayastantsi, Beirutsi and Artsakhtsi? This is a conversation about identity, culture, and heritage: undeniably rich and diverse, yet often fragmented and distinct to the communities that carry them. 📆 Tuesday, May 5, 2026 ⏰ 9 PM Yerevan / 7 PM CET / 1 PM EDT / 10 AM PST 🌐 Language: English 🧑‍💻 Online via HyeConnect To register: Sign up on HyeConnect, go to Events, find the event, click Going.
