KÁRYYN — LIVE AT TONELAB With opening DJ set by Shhau Tonelab is excited to host KÁRYYN — a Syrian-Armenian-American vocalist, composer, and producer from Los Angeles. Her music blends operatic vocals, modular synthesis, and deep listening with themes of quantum physics, lineage, and Eastern philosophy. Her critically acclaimed debut, The Quanta Series (2019), established her as a highly original sonic architect, drawing praise from avant-garde luminaries like Björk, Brian Eno, and Marina Abramović. In 2026 she returned with her new album, Physics Universal Love Language (PULL) — co-produced with James Ford and Hudson Mohawke — incorporating traditional Armenian and Middle Eastern instrumentation, soaring orchestral strings, and gravitational, hypnotic beats. OPENING SET Shhau — a music producer, composer, and sound designer from Yerevan, active at the crossroads of electronic, jazz, and experimental music — opens the night with a DJ set.
