MAY YOU GROW OLD ON ONE PILLOW The title is the old Armenian wedding blessing, and the program takes it literally: an hour at the Smithsonian on what gets cooked, sung, and said at an Armenian American wedding. THE COOKING Boris and Berj Ghazarian of Bark Barbecue demonstrate traditional dishes, with ghapama and manti prepared and tasted on site. THE MUSIC The Zulal a cappella trio performs Armenian folk songs of love and beauty. THE THEME Food, music, and the Armenian American wedding table, and how each one carries the tradition forward.
