THE WOMAN - AN EXHIBITION BY LILIT MELIKYAN Armenian artist Lilit Melikyan opens a two-day exhibition at the Center for Armenian Arts, built around the Armenian woman as she sees her: strong, creative, and life-giving. ON DISPLAY Paintings alongside Armenian national costumes, with a focus on batik art and the revival of traditional dress. The selection is drawn from Melikyan's recent solo exhibition in Armenia, which featured fifty works. ALSO LAUNCHING A new coloring book for children and adults based on Melikyan's artwork. WHAT COMES NEXT This is the first stop in a series of exhibitions across the United States telling Armenia's story through art, fashion, and cultural heritage.
