Armenian tattoo artists and studios in Glendale, including Armenian script, khachkar and ornamental work.
Armenian script is the single most requested piece in this category and the one most often done badly. Letterforms get mirrored, a vowel gets dropped, a font pulled off the internet turns out to be a decorative display face rather than script. Going to an artist who actually reads Armenian removes an entire class of permanent mistake.
Bring the text written out by someone who reads Armenian, not a screenshot of a translation tool. Ask the artist to write it out and show you before any needle touches skin, and read it yourself or have a family member read it. Classical and reformed orthography differ, so decide which you want rather than leaving it to the artist.
Most artists here work by consultation and deposit. The consultation settles placement, size and design, the deposit holds the date and comes off the final price. Custom work, particularly ornamental and khachkar pieces, needs design time between the consultation and the session, so expect at least a couple of weeks.
