- Business listings: Business name, address, phone number, website, description, photos, and service information
- Reviews: Your written reviews, ratings, and any associated username or profile information
- Newsletter signups: Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
- Communications: Messages you send us via email or contact forms
- Advertising purchases: When you purchase an advertising package, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase and your contact information, but we do not collect or store your credit card number or billing details — those are handled entirely by Stripe
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information
- Pages you visit, time spent on pages, and links you click
- Search queries entered in the directory
- Referring website or source
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the SupportArmenian.com directory
- Create and manage your account and business listings
- Display your business information to other users
- Send you transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, listing updates)
- Send you newsletter updates if you have subscribed (you may unsubscribe at any time)
- Analyze usage trends to improve the Site
- Respond to your questions and support requests
- Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions that significantly affect you, nor do we use it for targeted advertising through third-party ad networks.

- Public directory information: Business listing details (name, address, phone, website, description) are publicly displayed on the Site by design
- Service providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us
- Payment processing: Advertising purchases are processed by Stripe. When you complete a payment, Stripe collects your payment card details and billing information directly — SupportArmenian never sees or stores your card number. Stripe's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property
- Business transfers: If SupportArmenian is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on the Site. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us recognize your browser and remember certain information.

These include Firebase authentication tokens that keep you logged in, cookie consent preferences (so we don't ask you repeatedly), and session management cookies. Without these, core features like account login and business listing management will not work
- Preference cookies: Remember your language preference (English / Armenian), display settings, and filter choices so you don't have to reset them each visit. These are stored in your browser's local storage
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site — which pages are visited most, how long visitors stay, what links are clicked, and where traffic comes from. This data helps us improve the Site experience for everyone
Third-party services that set cookies:
- Google Analytics (GA4): We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, bounce rate, approximate geographic location (city-level), device type, browser, operating system, and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to distinguish unique visitors. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy - Ahrefs Analytics: We use Ahrefs web analytics to monitor site performance and search visibility. Ahrefs may set cookies to track page views and referral data. This data is used solely to improve our search engine optimization and content strategy
- Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts. Firebase sets cookies and local storage tokens to maintain your login session. Firebase's data practices are covered by the Firebase Privacy Policy
- Formspree: Newsletter signups and contact form submissions are processed through Formspree. Formspree may use cookies to prevent spam submissions. We collect your full name and email address through these forms
- Stripe: If you purchase an advertising package, Stripe handles payment processing and may set cookies related to fraud prevention and payment authentication. Stripe's practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy
Information collected through cookies and tracking:
- IP address and approximate geographic location (city and country level)
- Browser type, version, and language settings
- Operating system and device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Screen resolution and viewport size
- Pages visited, click paths, and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search engine that brought you to the Site

How long cookies last:
- Session cookies: Deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies: Google Analytics cookies expire after 2 years. Firebase login tokens persist until you sign out. Cookie consent and preference cookies persist until you clear your browser data
Managing cookies: You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear cookies when you close the browser. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using certain features of the Site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking technologies, or sell any data collected through cookies to advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Business listing information remains on the Site until you request its removal or we determine it is no longer accurate.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes (e.g., transaction records).

- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
