About

The Armenian Genocide Orphans Aram Bezikian Museum opened in 2015 in the Catholicosate of Cilicia’s historic Birds Nest orphanage in Jbeil, Lebanon, which took in orphans of the Genocide. Three permanent exhibits cover Ottoman Armenian life, the Genocide of 1915 and 1916, and the orphans’ resettlement in Lebanon, with a section honouring Maria Jacobsen. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 16:30.
