Founded by documentarian J. Michael Hagopian, the Armenian Film Foundation documents and preserves Armenian heritage in film and multimedia. Its best known achievement is recording nearly 400 filmed eyewitness testimonies of Armenian Genocide survivors, now incorporated into the USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive. It also produces documentaries, funds film student scholarships, and co-runs the Armenian Image Archive with the UCLA Promise Institute.
