Founded in 1906, the Armenian General Benevolent Union is the largest Armenian non-profit organization in the world, headquartered in New York City. It operates more than 80 locations across North America, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, running schools, scholarships, cultural centers, libraries, performing arts, youth and young professional programs, and humanitarian and development work in Armenia. Its education arm includes the Armenian Virtual College and partnerships with TUMO.
