The Armenian International Women's Association connects and supports Armenian women worldwide, organized around health and wellbeing, education, and economic empowerment. AIWA has awarded more than one million dollars in scholarships to women of Armenian descent, funds grants and training for women entrepreneurs, publishes books, and supports domestic violence prevention. It has participated in the UN Commission on the Status of Women since 2007 and works through regional affiliates.
