The Armenian School of Abu Dhabi is the Armenian community weekend school attached to the Holy Martyrs' Armenian Church in Mussafah. Classes cover Armenian language, Armenian history, religion and culture. The weekly Armenian programme in Abu Dhabi dates to 1976 and moved to the new church building in 2014, and the Ara Knanoyan Sunday School opened at the church in 2016 with 36 pupils. For Armenian families working in the capital, often far from any other Armenian institution, the church and its school are the centre of community life. The school can be reached through the community on +971 2 554 1818 or armcom@emirates.net.ae.
