George's Bar and Grill is the Koroyan family Fresno restaurant, founded in 1978 and descended from their earlier Sassoon's Restaurant, a longtime haunt of the Armenian novelist William Saroyan. It moved to its North Fresno location in 1995 and now runs a formal dining room, a coffee shop, three banquet rooms and a bar with live music. It was named Best Armenian Restaurant by Fresno Magazine and has taken multiple Best of the Valley awards.
