Hamazkayin Papazian Armenian Saturday School serves Armenian families in Western Sydney. It is sponsored by the Sevan chapter of Hamazkayin, the Armenian cultural and educational association, and teaches Armenian language, history and culture on weekends. About 57 students attend, which keeps classes small and personal. The school is one of several Hamazkayin weekend schools in Australia, part of a long effort to keep Armenian literacy alive among children born far from Armenia. Enrolment details are published through Hamazkayin's Australia regional page, which lists the Sevan chapter and its school.
