ICHIEN is the working name of Mher Karapetyan, an artist and jeweller from Echmiadzin who trained at the Terlemezyan college in Yerevan and then at the Surikov Institute in Moscow. He makes one off and small run pieces in silver and gold, with a visual language closer to art nouveau than to current commercial jewellery. The workshop is on the Kotelnicheskaya embankment and work is largely made to order, so timelines depend on the piece. Call or message through Instagram to discuss a commission.
