Yerord Mas is an Armenian restaurant, bakery and deli in a converted strip mall doughnut stand on San Fernando Road in north Glendale. It began as a ghost kitchen that landed on a New York Times top 50 list before opening as a brick and mortar. Its signature is a wagyu brisket basturma sandwich on house baked pita, and the menu reaches across the Armenian diaspora rather than sticking to standard kebab house fare.
