Zangak began as an Armenian publishing house in 1997 and has grown into a five-store bookstore chain across Yerevan, founded by the Mkrtchyan family. The flagship on Abovyan Street stocks Armenian fiction, children’s literature, academic titles and foreign-language books, with further branches on Komitas Avenue and in Megamall, Dalma Garden Mall and Rio Mall. The Abovyan and Rio Mall stores include cafes and the chain hosts literary events. Stores are open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
