Founded in 1984, AGBU-AYA San Fernando Valley Scouts is a division of the AGBU Armenian Youth Association and an independently chartered scouting group. Activities combine traditional scouting with Armenian culture, history and language, so members build outdoor skills while staying connected to their heritage. Community service is part of the program, and older scouts work toward Eagle Scout projects. A week-long summer camp rounds out the year. Email sfvchapter@agbu.org to ask about joining, or follow the group on Instagram to see what recent troop activity looks like.
