Alishan is the designer jewellery brand of Armenian-born goldsmith Alishan Halebian, who immigrated to the United States in 1970 and started out as a stone-setter in Los Angeles before teaching himself goldsmithing. He runs the brand with his wife and partner Lydia Tutunjian from a 2,200 square foot workshop in Irvine, and the work is sold through independent retailers rather than from a shop of its own.
