Anteb is an unpretentious Western Armenian restaurant just off Northern Avenue in Yerevan, named for Aintab and cooking the food of the western Armenian diaspora rather than the standard Yerevan repertoire. The Iskender kebab is the signature and its manti soup is widely called the best in the city, with lahmajun, ichli kyufta and nazik rounding out the menu. It runs an adjoining sweets shop for traditional baklava and is open daily 11am to midnight.
