The Armenian Hiking and Mountaineering Federation was established in 2011 and is based on Artsakhi Street in the Erebuni district of Yerevan. It covers mountaineering, hiking, rock climbing and mountain tourism, and serves as the sport federation for these disciplines in Armenia. Offices are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00. Suren Danielyan serves as president. Climbers, hikers and groups planning trips in Armenia's mountains can reach the federation by phone or through armalp.am.
