Dolmama Moscow is the Russian outpost of the Yerevan restaurant that Armenian restaurateur Jirair Avanian opened in 1998, and it has been operating in Romanov Pereulok since 2014. The kitchen builds its menu on Armenian home recipes rather than restaurant standards, which is what made the original a fixture for visitors to Yerevan. Weekends include a khash service, the slow cooked Armenian broth traditionally eaten in the morning. The dining rooms are small, so booking ahead is normal.
