Established in 1988 after the Spitak earthquake, the Fund for Armenian Relief is one of the largest United States based humanitarian and development organizations working in Armenia, with offices in New York and Yerevan. Its programs span children centers and orphan care, continuing medical education for Armenian physicians, rural economic development, education and scholarships, and emergency relief, including work in Artsakh and Javakhk.
