Gagik Vardanyan, known professionally as GaGo, is an Armenian artist born in Yerevan in 1960 and a graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts (1985). After establishing residence in Buenos Aires in 1999, where Latin American culture and energy shaped his visual language, GaGo settled in California in 2018. From his Glendale studio, he continues to create large-scale modern abstract and figurative oil paintings, including the celebrated series 'Motion,' 'Impressions of California,' and 'Urban Flower.' His work, exhibited internationally through GagoGallery, ranges from energetic abstract compositions to bold figurative pieces that explore the human form, nature, and movement.
