The Hamazkayin London Chapter is the British branch of the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, established in 1990. It maintains dedicated subcommittees for Armenian folk dance and music, and its programme also takes in theatre and literary events. Hamazkayin was founded to keep Armenian arts and letters alive in the diaspora, and the London chapter does that work for one of Europe's larger Armenian communities. Dancers, musicians, performers and audiences all find a place in its activities. Chapter news and contact routes are published on the Hamazkayin Europe United Kingdom page.
