JAF Marseille, the Provence branch of Jeunesse Armenienne de France, runs a cluster of schools from avenue de Toulon in the sixth arrondissement of Marseille. These include the Vanouch Khanamirian Armenian dance school and the Araxe dance ensemble, an Armenian language school, a music school and a painting school, together serving more than 200 students. The branch has also organized summer camps since 1985. Marseille holds one of the oldest Armenian communities in France, and JAF gives its children and teenagers a full week of Armenian activity outside school. Enrolment enquiries go to 04 91 80 28 20.
