About
Maran Winery traces its line to 1828 and was renamed for the family matriarch Maran in 1860. Confiscated under Soviet rule, it was restored by Avag Harutunian in 1992, with Frunz Harutyunyan overseeing winemaking today. It makes Areni and Voskehat wines plus the Noravank label from an ancestral vineyard the family bought back in 2021.
