Napa Valley Distillery was founded in 2009 by Arthur and Lusine Hartunian, both born in Armenia, and was the first distillery in Napa since Prohibition. The family distills small-batch brandy, vodka, whiskey, gin and liqueurs using local Napa fruit and wine barrels, with a tasting outpost at Oxbow Public Market and a cocktail lounge downtown.
