Founded in 1972, the Armenian Assembly of America is a Washington based advocacy organization representing Armenian American interests before the United States Congress and executive branch. It works on Armenian Genocide affirmation, United States and Armenia relations and the human rights situation in Artsakh, and maintains an office in Yerevan. It also runs a long standing Washington internship program for Armenian American students and the Armenian Genocide Library and Resource Center.
