Baklava House opened in March 2023 at Bullard and West avenues in Fresno, run by Arut Mkhitaryan, who learned baklava from his grandmother in Armenia and ran a baklava bakery there as a teenager. Despite the name it is a full restaurant, with football shaped three cheese khachapuri under a runny egg, all day breakfast, and European and American dishes with Armenian accents like dolma and vegan cabbage rolls. Baklava flavours rotate daily.
