Founded in 2003, Birthright Armenia subsidizes volunteer, internship and immersion experiences in Armenia for diaspora young adults, pairing work placements with host family homestays, Armenian language instruction and excursions. It operates in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and other cities and maintains a large alumni network. Its mission is to strengthen ties between diaspora youth and the homeland, and it shares offices with the Armenian Volunteer Corps and Repat Armenia.
