Kayaneh is the Armenian folk dance school of Hamazkayin Lebanon, founded in 1989 in Beirut. It teaches folk dance to children and young people, taking dancers from first steps to performance level. Hamazkayin Lebanon maintains a full set of cultural institutions in Beirut, from a music college to theatre and choral programmes, and Kayaneh is its dance school within that group. It serves Armenian families in Beirut and its suburbs, where one of the largest Armenian communities in the Middle East lives. Information about the school is published on the Hamazkayin Lebanon regional page.
