The Judo Federation of Armenia is the country's national governing body for judo, based in Yerevan and founded in 1992. It manages the national judo team, sanctions competitions and represents Armenian judo internationally. Vardan Voskanyan serves as president. Below the federation sit the clubs and combat sports schools where Armenian children first put on a judogi, and the federation is the body that licences athletes and organises the national calendar. Clubs seeking affiliation, and coaches or athletes wanting to enter national competition, work through the federation in Yerevan.
