Probka was the first restaurant of Aram Mnatsakanov, an Armenian born in Baku, and it opened in St Petersburg in 2001. It became the foundation of Probka Family, which now runs several venues in the city and four in Moscow. The cooking is Italian and wine led, so the Armenian element here is ownership rather than menu. It sits in the Energiya business centre in Zoologichesky Pereulok, with Mama Tuta in the same building.
