About
The Church of the Holy Mother of God, Surb Astvatsatsin, serves the Don Armenian village of Bolshiye Saly in the Myasnikovsky district of Rostov Oblast, one of the settlements founded by the Armenians who moved from Crimea to the Don in 1779. It was built between 1860 and 1867 and restored between 2001 and 2008, and is an active parish of the Diocese of New Nakhichevan and Russia.
