ADCARLY is an Armenian association in Lyon that runs chess lessons at the Espace Garbis Manoukian, the community venue on rue d'Armenie in the third arrondissement. Chess has deep roots in Armenian life, where it is taught in schools and followed closely, and the club brings that tradition to the Armenian community of Lyon. Alongside the chess programme the association also maintains a theatre company. It serves players and performers of the Lyon Armenian community, one of the largest in France.
