The Armavir Children's and Youth Sports School of Combat Sports provides combat sports training for children and young people in Armavir. It is listed among Armenia's state sports schools on the Government of Armenia services gateway, so it forms part of the public system that develops young athletes across the regions. Coaching is organised for beginners through to those competing, covering the combat disciplines Armenia has long been known for. Schools of this kind are where most Armenian wrestlers, boxers and judoka start. Parents in Armavir can enquire at the school, which the government register lists by name.
