Armenian Stars is the youth choir of the Hamazkayin Klatsor chapter in Toronto. Hamazkayin, the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, maintains choirs, dance groups and literary programs across its Canadian chapters, and this choir is the Toronto chapter's youth voice. Singers work on Armenian choral repertoire, from folk song to sacred and composed music. The choir gives young Armenian Torontonians a place to use the language through music and to perform for their own community. Families interested in joining can contact the Hamazkayin Canada regional office by email or reach the Toronto chapter through the Hamazkayin Canada chapters page.
