Nor Yeraz is the dance group of the Hamazkayin New York chapter, with 29 dancers listed on the chapter's official page. The group trains and performs Armenian folk dance for young people in the city. Hamazkayin is the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, and its chapters sustain Armenian dance, music and literature in the diaspora. The group serves Armenian families in New York who want their children connected to Armenian culture through dance. Enquiries go to the Hamazkayin Eastern Region office at east@hamazkayin-usa.org, and the chapter posts updates on Facebook at facebook.com/HamazkayinNY.
