Nayiri Dance Ensemble is the Armenian folk dance ensemble of the Hamazkayin New Jersey chapter, founded in 2004. It teaches and performs Armenian folk dance for young people in four age groups, named Van, Kars, Bitlis and Erzurum after historic Armenian regions. Hamazkayin is the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, and its chapters run cultural programmes in Armenian communities worldwide. The ensemble serves Armenian families across New Jersey who want their children dancing and performing in an Armenian setting. Families can write to newjersey@hamazkayin-usa.org or follow the chapter on Instagram at njhamazkayin.
