Associazione Padus-Araxes is an Armenian cultural association in Venice, a city with centuries of Armenian history through the Mekhitarist community on San Lazzaro. Its main offering is a 65 hour intensive course in Armenian language and culture, taught mainly in Western Armenian, with a separate strand of Eastern Armenian for intermediate learners. The programme is rounded out with lectures on Armenian history, art and music and an extracurricular cultural programme, and the France-Armenie agenda notes free Armenian dance classes attached to the course.
