The Ghazaros Sarian chapter is Hamazkayin's branch in Thessaloniki, established in 1980. Its main activity is the Masis Armenian folk dance group, which numbers 26 dancers and is taught by Rafael Vardazarian. Thessaloniki has an Armenian community with roots in the early twentieth century, and the chapter keeps its folk dance repertoire in regular practice. The group suits young people and adults in northern Greece who want to learn Armenian dance properly and perform it. Information about the chapter and joining the group is published on the Hamazkayin Europe Greece page.
