The Nairi Dance Group is the Athens dance chapter of Hamazkayin Greece, established in 2011. It brings together about 100 dancers across three Armenian folk dance ensembles, Nairi, Nanor and Maralo, which lets the chapter group dancers by age and experience. The chapter is reported to have 112 members in total and is directed by Edgar Egian. Greece has one of the older Armenian communities in Europe, and this is one of its most visible cultural projects. Dancers and families interested in joining can find the chapter through the Hamazkayin Europe Greece page.
