The Oshakan chapter is Hamazkayin's branch in Nicosia, established in 1999. It runs the Sipan Armenian dance group in the capital, the Hekiat youth theatre troupe and workshop, and the Timag theatre group. Sister dance groups under Hamazkayin Cyprus carry the names Ani in Paphos and Cilicia in Limassol, so the island's Armenian community has dance and stage activity in three cities. The chapter serves Armenian Cypriot children, teenagers and adults who want to perform rather than only attend. Chapter and group information is published on the Hamazkayin Europe Cyprus page.
