Courants d'Art is the Marseille chapter of Hamazkayin, the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, listed on the society's own European chapter directory. Its music school teaches piano, violin and guitar alongside the Armenian dhol, duduk and kanon, so students can learn a European instrument or one from the Armenian tradition. The art school covers drawing, painting and pottery, and the chapter also runs the Guiliguia Armenian dance ensemble. Marseille has one of the oldest and largest Armenian communities in France, and this chapter is one of its cultural anchors. The centre is at 60 Boulevard Pinatel in the twelfth arrondissement.
