Kilikia is an Armenian folk dance ensemble of the Hamazkayin chapter in Sao Paulo, named after Cilicia, the historic Armenian region on the Mediterranean. It sits within the chapter's dance programme, which offers free Armenian dance classes to young people aged 9 to 17 alongside the Arevik ensemble. Brazil's Armenian community is centred on Sao Paulo, where associations like Hamazkayin have kept language, dance and music in circulation for decades.
