Knar is an Armenian folk dance troupe of Hamazkayin Lebanon, founded in Beirut in 1956. It is one of the longest standing Armenian dance groups in the Middle East, built around training and performance of the Armenian folk repertoire. The troupe sits alongside Hamazkayin Lebanon's other institutions in the city, including the Kayaneh dance school, the Parsegh Ganachian Music College and its choirs. It serves dancers from Beirut's Armenian community who want to perform at a serious level. The troupe is listed with contact routes on the Hamazkayin Lebanon regional page.
