Homenetmen Ararat is the Armenian Australian chapter behind Ararat Basketball in Sydney. Established in 1980 and part of Homenetmen since 1988, it runs junior basketball from age five through to senior men's and senior women's teams, alongside the scouting programme that is central to the Homenetmen movement. Home training is at the Ryde Community Sports Centre, known as ELS Hall, with sessions also held at Epping Boys High. The club gives Armenian families in Sydney a place where sport, Armenian language and community life sit together. New players and scouts can enquire by email at araratsports@yahoo.com or through the club website.
