Tamzara is the Armenian folk dance group of the AGBU Sydney chapter, based at the chapter premises on Yeo Street in Neutral Bay. Alongside the main group it runs Tamzara Kids, an AGBU Youth project that teaches children Armenian dance and culture. The group takes its name from one of the best known Armenian folk dances. Sydney holds the largest Armenian community in Australia, and dance is one of the activities that brings its generations into the same room.
