Homenetmen Beirut is the football branch of the Armenian General Athletic Union in Lebanon, founded in 1924. The men's team competes in the Lebanese league and plays its home matches at Bourj Hammoud Stadium, in the heart of Beirut's Armenian district. The club has spent recent seasons in the lower divisions, moving between them from year to year. For the Lebanese Armenian community the club is a century old institution as much as a football team, carrying the Homenetmen name into Lebanese competition. Supporters and players can follow the club through Homenetmen Lebanon, the national association.
