Homenetmen Cairo is the Egyptian capital's chapter of the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts. Sports and scouting make up its programme, as they do throughout the movement. The chapter is listed as active in the Homenetmen central chapter directory. Egypt's Armenian community is smaller than it once was, which gives organisations like Homenetmen a larger role in keeping young people connected to Armenian language and company. Families in Cairo can approach the chapter through the Homenetmen organisation, as no public address or website is published.
